Duke Global Mental Health Conference 2025

Now More than Ever: Addressing the Global Imperative of Mental Health Equity

On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, the Duke Center for Global Mental Health will host its 2nd Annual Conference, bringing together faculty, trainees, students, and professionals committed to addressing mental health disparities both locally and globally. Held in honor of World Mental Health Day, this year’s conference will center on the theme: Now More than Ever: Addressing the Global Imperative of Mental Health Equity.

The event will highlight Duke’s collaborative strengths, drawing participants from across the university’s schools and departments, as well as from partner universities and community organizations throughout the Triangle and beyond. The conference program will include presentations from three distinguished keynote speakers, as well as poster sessions and symposia addressing a wide range of topics in global mental health.

The conference is free to attend, and registration is now open to everyone! All are warmly invited to register and be part of this vibrant and growing community dedicated to global mental health scholarship and practice. We are also now accepting submissions for poster presentations (both in-person and virtual), oral presentations, and symposia. While oral presentations and symposia are reserved for Duke students, faculty, affiliates, and partners, we encourage everyone to submit an abstract for a poster presentation!
